So what? There are several more candidates (Green, Libertarian, and independents Nader and Paul, to name a few) who are on enough state ballots to give them a chance of winning, but we’re restricted to hearing only two of them. And why? Because the Commission consists of retired party hacks from those two parties! Obama and McCain are on top because of a process that not only shut out not only all other parties but restricted the participatiuon of their own Kucinich and Paul—all because they opposed aggressive war and the subversion of the Bill of Rights. How can any real American vote for either of the Republicrats who ow their positions to a politics of repression? YOU tell ME.

I was under the impression that Cynthia McKinney would be blogging in real time about the issues raised in the debates, but can find nothing here. What’s going on?

Gregg:
Cynthia’s commentary should be going live sometime this weekend.

Were the debates worth watching? I know enough about the positions of these two on the bailouts, Afghanistan, death penalty, etc. to know that once again we don’t have a real choice here.
Any expert analysis?
